You Know What...RES

You all remeber Res? She came out in 2001 and I'm remenicing over me and Azizzio listening to this while I was doing the Kaah album cover, this brings back memories. She had a special tone in her voice and was a bit "alternative"...no fcuk I hate this word.. sorry what I mean is she was into more than RnB at the time, influences from funk rock etc, like somebody like Nikka Costa (Hermon, Isabelle and all my youngsta readers check Nikka Costa out if you haven't heard her)but not your average RnB chick. Golden Boys was the hit

but also "Ice King" was a great tune on the album (wich also NAS did a Remix on, dunno what happened to it). And RES had style, I'm thinking of a fashion shoot stylist Patti Wilson (the great woman that also is responsible for Alicias first album among MANY other things) did for TRACE Magazine that was really fine. I got it at home see if I can find the mag and scan them!
My girl Pauline reminds me a bit of Res, or the opposite way =)
Anyway you can now download her new Pharell written "You Know What", Ice King + more on her MySpace, a swedish blog; Blunted Soul might have better version and also got Ps own N.E.R.D-version of the song, but I think I go for Res cause I ve missed her sounds!
