Patta Asics Pack

My boys at Patta (Amsterdam) is releasing an Asics kit with matching jacket/kicks/backpack in 3 colorways. The shoes is maybe not as razorsharp as their first collabo with Asics (but that's just becase I LOVED that one), but I think Patta on purpose do it more low key, they want it to look like an original asics shoe! And just the feel of wearing another type of brand (REAL atlethics brand) gives a good feeling.
BUT don't wear it all togheter!!!

The backpack is returning in a bigger scale, Headporter Plus always got something amazing, Mishka dropping another one, WoodWood had a beutiful one yesterday, Visvim got fresh ones comin out

WoodWood Men A/W 09 10

The Men s looked a bit better. First of all great hair on the guys(smart idea with extensions)!
One of the best styles; sharp jeansjacket! Def feel those mixes with leather and mid blue jeans wash. Notice the fit on the jeans, a bit looser than lately (as I ve been naging about, however it depends on where U at right now), jackets are a little bit longer. But I would prefer a bit shorter leg, so the rolled up part not become so prominent.

Bleeched detail works even better here, whole jeans outfit with a new passform could be something. Clear example of how much the hair did!

I Like this print, awkward at first sight, nice in second. Prepp with a twist

parkas in leather + red wings= good combo

Interessting loose fit in thinner denim, could have seen more of this.

But also the Men's Collection lacked some signature items. The Cardigan? Hm ...WW is so much more preppy but Henrik Vibskov allready made the cardigan to his last year which nearly disqualifies it, what Ill take with me; the jeansjackets and the fit (n hair!)

I wonder why danish WOODWOOD choose to show during the Swedish Fashion Week (but of course Im happy for the easy opportunity to see it live), I mean, they have a different street credibility compared to Velour, Hope etc and should use, show of that uniqueness.

Wood Wood Women A W 09

The bad news first....
Im sorry to say the Womans was a disappointment, at least compared to the Wood Wood Womens A/W 09. I really wanted a strong new collection, because Ive been writing editorials of how lovely the spring collection is (BUY!!!!). In short terms: the Spring Collection is one of the FEW collections that takes street wear for women serious, with intact functional street wear roots, with parallells to what's going on in the male wear but still with an own feminine character. I want ALL from that collection. But Im afraid that to few people understands the greatness of it today wich maybe did show in the companys sales. - which may be the reason why this fall womens collection came out very dull and I may have to say boring.... as a commercial atempt?!

Ok, as always if WW do a big shirt, it's a perfect shirt, but it didn't do it for me this time. I had a hard time finding what I ve been beliving is WoodWoods soul, where was the spot on prints or at least that extra something who gave a clean collection it's twist before(read: the flower patter or the Camoflage some seasons ago).

This one, an overall feels like a classic WW but could have come from an older Collection

Another favourite is the big jeans jacket, why not more styles of this one? Nice hair too!
A nice item, but the styling doesnt make it it's rights

Ok readers, go out and support the AW collection when it hits the store so WWW comes back in the game with self esteem the next season

N as Zelam noticed it's kind of unneccesary to forget to remove pricetags from shoes etc....
