Though ca 60% of you people reading this blog is non-swedes I have to present some of the home grown stuff; Mini Market from Sweden is a brand that might appeal to some of you.
Me myself issed a huge part of the Swedish Fashion Week because of the gig in Roskilde, so I didn't really had the time to look in to The Mini Market World. The 3 sisters Elvestedt have been approching street wear estetichs before (jacket is Mini Market) and are this time using symbols in a way we re used to from Jeremy Scott, Casette Playa ect. But the best pieces from the SS 09 Collection is the accesoaires, looove the shoes with the zipper all way down, the bowler hat craze is already all over us, but a red one make a difference, and the shades are clean!

Im in the middle of writing a report about Hip Hop as a movement, with it's tools and possibilities for an athority. Im far from a re-re-re-winding Hip Hop puritan today and sees this subculture as just part in something bigger...inner city culture with all it's eclectic influences. But I can't in words describe-how infantile it may sound-what those six letters has ment to me growing up, maybe it was just the vessel it was to me, that vessel I could fill with what ever I wanted.
